Breaking news:
The Center for Civil and Human Rights (CCHR) has selected EDAW Atlanta and Hood Design of Oakland as landscape designers for its future facility north of the Coca-Cola Museum in downtown Atlanta.
EDAW’s William Gilchrist will serve as the primary consultant and be responsible for the contract document and construction administration phases. Walter Hood, Jr., of Hood Design, guides the team’s efforts through the schematic design and development phases. EDAW, which has (forgive us) deep roots in Atlanta, designed the nearby Centennial Park and worked with artist Curtis Patterson to design the Andy Young tribute in Walton Spring Park.
