Maybe I'm an old fogey but the music of Sinatra in the 50's and 60's never hit the decibels that ranged thru the Alliance house. When the audience has to battle that assault it makes the enjoyment of a quite wonderful, but flawed show even more flawed. Dance is an evanescent art. Although Tharp's choreography can be memorable, this show had a sameness and a deplorable "My Way" that left little resonance upon leaving the theater. The less said about the ever disappearing costumes the better. This show will have a future as soon as some of it's production values are rethought.
