When the audience has to battle that assault it makes the enjoyment of a quite wonderful, but flawed show even more flawed. Dance is an evanescent art. Although Tharp's choreography can be memorable, this show had a sameness and a deplorable "My Way" that left little resonance upon leaving the theater. The less said about the ever disappearing costumes the better. This show will have a future as soon as some of it's production values are rethought.
