South Atlantic Region chapter American Institute of Architects design award: Amy Landesberg
Atlanta architect Amy Landesberg has received an honor award from South Atlantic Region chapter of the AIA for her design of an enclosure for an electrical substation near Georgia Tech’s North Avenue Research Area.

Sited in a gritty stretch of Northside Drive, below Marietta Street, “Power Wrap” makes no attempt to disguise this vital piece of infrastructure. By day, it’s a matter-of-fact scrim. At night, with the help of timed colored lights, it becomes an art installation.
