Architecture news: a new website for architects and architecture lovers

Architizer.com is a fabulous idea, an open community designed to link  the whole architecture ecosystem — architects, manufacturers, engineers and clients. Founded by Matthias Hollwich and Marc Kushner of the New York firm HWKN as a forum for architects to show their work, it has already attracted more than 500 members, including big guns like Rem Koolhaas, in its click-through directory.

For those of us who follow architecture, the best thing about it is its global portfolio. It encompasses built and unbuilt work, from the most-talked about to projects you’d never otherwise know existed.
